HYPTRAK development update
Where HYPTRAK stands today, what's being built, and what comes next.
HYPTRAK is the platform we've been building toward since the beginning of Zimute.
The original Zimute streaming service was a first chapter — it proved the concept and revealed the limits. HYPTRAK is the second chapter: a music streaming platform built specifically for independent artists, with better tools for discovery, analytics, audience ownership, and monetization.
It's currently in active development by HYPTRAK INC. The engineering foundation is being built inside Zimute Labs, which means we're developing infrastructure we own and understand rather than assembling on top of third-party services we can't control.
Where things stand: the core streaming infrastructure is being rebuilt from the ground up. The artist dashboard framework is in design. Discovery work is in early prototype. The platform isn't ready for public launch — and we won't announce a date until we're confident in it.
What we're not doing: overpromising a launch timeline, describing features we haven't built, or calling this 'the future of music' until it has actually shipped and worked for real artists.
What we are doing: building carefully, staying close to what artists actually need, and sharing progress honestly as it develops. More updates as there's more to share.
